Today kicks off the National Conference on Volunteering and Service – more than 5,000 (!) service leaders are pouring into New York City to create greater impact and effectiveness in meeting social needs through service and volunteering.
Good news for those who want to participate online – we will be webcasting several of the events and the Twitter hashtag for the conference is #NCVS. And if you’re attending the conference in real life, don’t forget to check in on Gowalla to get a NCVS stamp.
