The Fifth Committee (Administrative and Budgetary) met this morning to elect the remainder of its Bureau for the upcoming sixty-sixth session of the General Assembly.
Elected by acclamation as Vice-Chairs were Mariam Al-Shamisi (United Arab Emirates), from the Group of Asian States; Jelena Plakalović (Serbia), from the Group of Eastern European States; and Paul Ballantyne (New Zealand), from the Group of Western European and Other States.
Noel González Segura ( Mexico), from the Group of Latin American and Caribbean States, was elected Rapporteur.
The Fifth Committee will meet again on a date to be announced.
